Ms. L’s Boudoir Empowerment Session
From brain surgery to boudoir empowerment.
“I had brain surgery in November so this shoot is also to empower me.”
When she booked me for her boudoir empowerment session, she mentioned that it was a wedding gift for her husband, but also a gift for herself because she had just been through something life-changing. Brain surgery always is, right? And when she asked me to get a photograph of her scar, how could I say no?
That’s the thing I love about boudoir: no matter your reason for doing it, ultimately it benefits you, because you leave feeling uplifted and more powerful than when you walked through my door. That’s why I do it. I love giving the gift of empowerment and femininity to other women who are just like me, who have been through some shit but have decided, “Nope, I’m still going to come out on top.” This lovely lady didn’t let her brain surgery hold her back. Look at that scar! Instead of defeated and beaten, she got up, dusted herself off, kept planning her wedding, and scheduled a boudoir session for her husband herself.
Mrs. L rocked her session in a cute, red two-piece, and a sexy blue teddy, and then almost set off my smoke alarms with a sheer crop top and fishnets from the studio wardrobe. FIRE! Check out my favorites from her boudoir empowerment session below!
And congratulations to Mrs. L who got married last weekend!
